A member of the editorial board of Applied Physics (APP) and other journals, he has published more than 100 SCI indexed papers in internationally renowned journals, and the papers have been cited more than 3000 times, with h factor 37. He was selected as one of Xiamen's "Two Hundred Talents" (2017), presided over the National Natural Science Foundation/Youth Project, the Fujian Natural Science Foundation Project, and participated in the National Major Scientific Research Plan project and a number of National Natural Science Foundation projects as the first participant of the technical core backbone. |
| Prof. Chong Kok Keong Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia Prof. Dr. Chong Kok-Keong received B.Sc. (Hons) 1st class degree from University of Malaya in 1998 and Ph.D. (Optical Engineering) degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2002. He is also Fulbright visiting scholar: Princeton University, USA for the period of Sep-Dec 2015. Currently, he is full professor in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman teaching the subjects of solar cell technology, renewable energy, optoelectronics, electronic circuit, microsystem technology, circuit theory, electronic power converter etc. He is a chartered engineer registered under the engineering council, United Kingdom and a certified HRDF trainer with certificate no. TTT/14963. For research experience, he has been working in the field of solar energy and photovoltaic system for more than 17 years and his research interest including concentrating solar power, high concentrator photovoltaic system, organic solar cell, photovoltaic system, and solar thermal system. To date, he has produced more than 100 publications, including journal articles, conference proceedings and book chapters. Up to today, he has been principal investigator and project leader for research grants with a total amount of around USD 1 Million, including the largest research grant with total amount of RM 1.988 Million from Ministry of Energy, Water and Green Technology to commercialize his research output. |
