Prof. Chong Kok Keong Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia Prof. Dr. Chong Kok-Keong received B.Sc. (Hons) 1st class degree from University of Malaya in 1998 and Ph.D. (Optical Engineering) degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2002. He is also Fulbright visiting scholar: Princeton University, USA for the period of Sep-Dec 2015. Currently, he is full professor in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman teaching the subjects of solar cell technology, renewable energy, optoelectronics, electronic circuit, microsystem technology, circuit theory, electronic power converter etc. He is a chartered engineer registered under the engineering council, United Kingdom and a certified HRDF trainer with certificate no. TTT/14963. For research experience, he has been working in the field of solar energy and photovoltaic system for more than 17 years and his research interest including concentrating solar power, high concentrator photovoltaic system, organic solar cell, photovoltaic system, and solar thermal system. To date, he has produced more than 100 publications, including journal articles, conference proceedings and book chapters. Up to today, he has been principal investigator and project leader for research grants with a total amount of around USD 1 Million, including the largest research grant with total amount of RM 1.988 Million from Ministry of Energy, Water and Green Technology to commercialize his research output. |
